The natural edge of the Kansas Burr Oak log provides a never to be matched beauty and uniqueness. The variations in color are caused by my allowing the logs to spalt for about 5 years prior to sawing them. This thick 3 1/2 inch material makes great counter tops, kitchen island tables, or bar tops. I also have a coffee table created from this piece (see coffee table index, left)
