The greatest influence on a natural work is the piece ittself.  Most often, Mother Nature provides the form and beauty. Scroll down to see similar piece that is finished.

Below ( keep scrolling down ) are a few of the special pieces we have at the shop and a brief narrative on how they might be utilized.
This stump is going to make someone a spectacular table base. It's unique offset along with an offset table top will  create a pleasant bonsai look.

It can serve as a base for a dining or coffee table. The top should be of some solid material. It could be wood, stone, or even copper.

If you email me on this; please refer " bonsai stump "
.
Unique Pieces
The base, above, will have very similar tone as the finished stump base, left.

If interested in using this piece, email me your thoughts for top material, size, and whether for dining or coffee table.

We have a 3 ft by 4 ft piece of this 2,000 year old burl that would make a nice top. You may see that  HERE.

Cost, with the 3 by 4 burl top for foyer table - $5,300.00
As a coffee table $5,140.00

Tangle dining table bases. Tangled root cocktail table bases are further down this page.

The two photos, below, are of the latest tangle table piece. It was created especially for Nancia. Nancia was gracious enough to send us these two photos that she took from within her home.
On down the page are tables created from the very same materials as Nancia's ( siberian Elm, a hardwood) and will have the same finish. You can expect the same look.
Below is a chart for various diameters of glass tops. Where overhang is the distance the glass top extends beyond the branches and Footroom is measured ( after one is seated comfortably for dining ), straight inward from the edge of table to tip of shoe or toe. A minimum comfortable distance is 13 inches.

Here you can see the density of the piece. Again, the final finish is not applied at this point. so it does not have the same " glow " as seen in the two photos, top of page. When finished, there is a soft " glow ".
We work very hard to insure every joint appears as though it " grew " together. It truly looks as though it was dug out of the ground.

This piece is in our shop and now ready for application of the final finish.

This base measures, across the top, 46 inches
one way and 40 the other.

The lower part of the base measures 20 inches by 24 inches.

We suggest a minimum glass thickness of 5/8 inch and up to 1 inch.

Most local glass shops are quite capable of providing a round top with various choices of standard edgings similar to the glass top shown HERE.

Amorphic shaped and arctic edged glass tops similar to that in the top two photos of this page are available

Tangled cocktail tables
Photo of the  tangled table to the right is compliments of a client. Thank you Robb. It is finished and setting in Robbs living room. The tables directly below are created of the very same materials and are planned to be finished with the same rub on satin sheen polyurethane.

Robbs glass top was 30 inch diameter on the maximum dimensions.
The photo, right, was taken in our shop of a piece that measures at a max of 26 inches wide by 39 inches long.  A glass top could be 45 by 30 ish. In an oval or rectangular shape. A template can be made of the table such that a glass cutter can create the proper piece of glass.

This table base delivered curbside ( Cont. U.S.A. ) by our blanket wrap shipper.

$ 4,537.00
